Introduction

“PanoSnap” is a browser extension developed and operated by Hefei Xiguoke Network Technology Co., Ltd. and/or its affiliates (referred to as “Xiguoke” or “we”) for full-page screenshots, area screenshots, annotation and editing, and format export (collectively, “the product”).

This agreement is the contract between you and us for using the product. Please read it carefully before installing or using the product. By starting to use the product, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this agreement; if you do not agree, please stop using and uninstall the product.

1. Service Description

  1. The product is provided as a browser extension, including full-page scrolling capture, area capture, cropping and annotation (pen, text, shapes, redaction), undo and redo, copy and export (PNG / JPG / WebP / PDF), and local capture history.
  2. The current version is free to use. We may adjust, add or discontinue features as needed, and will announce such changes through notices inside the extension or on this page.
  3. The product relies on the screenshot and script-injection capabilities provided by the browser; browser version or policy changes may temporarily affect some features, and we will do our best to fix them.

2. License

  1. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the product for your own purposes or within the internal work of your team.
  2. Without our written permission, you may not sell, rent, sublicense or distribute the product, or integrate the product, in whole or in part, into other products.
  3. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the product, or remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices in it.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the product, you agree not to:

  1. Capture or distribute web content that violates laws or regulations or infringes upon the lawful rights of others.
  2. Use the product to obtain or spread other people’s private information, trade secrets, or other content not authorized for disclosure.
  3. Crack or bypass the product’s feature restrictions or authorization checks.
  4. Otherwise use the product to engage in activities that violate laws and regulations or infringe upon the lawful rights of others.

4. Data and Retention

  1. The screenshots, edits and related records you create in the product are stored locally in your browser. We cannot access them and keep no copies.
  2. You are responsible for the content you capture: please comply with the terms of service of the websites you visit, and respect others’ privacy and intellectual property. Before sharing, we recommend using the redaction tool to cover sensitive information.
  3. Uninstalling the extension, clearing browser data, switching devices or reinstalling your system may cause the above data to be lost. Please export and save the screenshots you need in time.
  4. Feedback you actively submit is sent to our feedback server and used solely to improve the product; please do not include sensitive personal information in feedback.

5. Intellectual Property

  1. The copyright and other intellectual property rights in the product and its related software, interface design, icons and text belong to Xiguoke.
  2. Rights in the web content you capture are determined by the rights holders of that content and applicable law; the product only provides capture and editing tools and does not change ownership.
  3. Your use of the files the product exports is subject to the same terms as above.

6. Third-Party Services and Trademark Notices

  1. The product’s capture and editing features run entirely locally and rely on no third-party online services.
  2. Chrome and Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google LLC; Edge and Edge Add-ons are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. The product is not affiliated with, and has not been sponsored, endorsed by or associated with, these companies.
  3. “Rate us” and email feedback link to or point at third-party services; your relationship with those third parties is governed by their own terms and is unrelated to this agreement.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  1. The product is provided “as is”. Due to complex page structures (virtual scrolling, canvas, protected streaming media, etc.), some pages may fail to capture completely or stitch with misalignment; please rely on the actual export result.
  2. The capture and editing tools are provided for your personal use; you bear the consequences of capturing, editing and distributing content yourself.
  3. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, data loss or lost profits arising from the use of or inability to use the product.
  4. We are not liable for service interruptions or data anomalies caused by force majeure, browser failures or browser policy changes.

8. Changes to This Agreement

  1. We may modify this agreement due to legal or regulatory changes or product adjustments. Modifications will be posted on this page and take effect upon posting.
  2. If you continue to use the product after an update, you are deemed to have accepted the updated agreement; if you do not agree, please stop using and uninstall the product.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  1. This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
  2. Disputes arising from this agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with a people’s court with jurisdiction where we are located.
