AirDay
Turn everything you bring home into an asset: purchase price, daily cost, residual value, and resale — the full lifecycle in one checklist.
Know exactly where every possession came from — and where it went.
AirDay is a locally run asset and item management app. Every item you bring home should not be just a one-time expense, but an asset on your personal micro balance sheet — AirDay helps you keep an inventory of your things and tracks each item’s entire journey from purchase to retirement. It isn’t a ledger of cash; it’s a checklist of your belongings: did you overpay or get a bargain? Let the numbers decide.
The way it works is simple: build a profile for every item, and manage its status with a swipe. No spreadsheets, no formulas — see the item, then decide what to do with it.
Everything happens locally on your device: no account registration, no data upload, no ads.
In one line: managing your stuff doesn’t have to be a cleanup marathon. It can be a light habit of minimalism — like breathing.

What AirDay can do for you
Build a profile for every item
Name, image, category, purchase price, purchase date, usage status, and warranty period — fill everything in one place, so you never miss a claim window. Built-in item icons and multiple switchable themes make the inventory look like a list, not a cold spreadsheet.
Whether it’s a coat, a camera, or a foreign-currency note, everything earns a seat in AirDay. Everyday wardrobe management, your collection of asset-class electronics, and sentimental tickets all live in one place — no more things scattered everywhere.
Spread the price across every day
AirDay amortizes the purchase price into a daily cost based on days in service, and uses a “service progress bar” to show where the item is in its lifecycle and how much economic value remains. Only when the true daily cost drops below the number in your mind does the purchase really pay off.
Expensive or cheap shouldn’t be a feeling — it should be a number, precisely spread out by time.
See the remaining value of your assets
Asset tracking looks past the purchase price. Gold, precious metals, and foreign currency can record a purchase benchmark, so you always know where your assets are anchored; digital devices, gear, and collectibles show residual value after depreciation. Run your possessions like a growing company — manage everything you own with reason.
Let go gracefully when it’s time
Declutter doesn’t mean throwing away; it means settling an item’s economic life gracefully the moment it’s resold or retired. When an item is sold, gifted, or retired, simply mark it in AirDay to complete the transfer: swipe left to favorite, retire, or delete.
That camera you bought on impulse, that annual pass you followed the crowd into — was it “a few bucks of rent per day” or a “pure loss liability”? The data strips the bubble out of your spending, and even donation or resale turns idle things back into value.
Privacy: your data stays in your hands
As a truly minimalist tool, AirDay has no account system and no cloud. Item data lives only on your device, and uninstalling the app clears it completely.
The app doesn’t plug into third-party login, analytics, ads, or cloud storage SDKs — not “off by default,” but simply absent. That matters especially if you want tidy checklist order without handing your household over to someone else.
Typical scenarios
1. Taking stock before moving or decluttering
Moving house, or ready to declutter? Snap your belongings in AirDay first: what’s worth keeping, what should go — all clear at a glance. When you actually start, you’re no longer staring at a pile of clutter.
2. Closet & wardrobe management
Season changes, and out come clothes you don’t remember buying. Profile each coat and shoe, log the price and how often you wear it, and check the wardrobe before the next purchase. Closet management finally has evidence — fewer “bought it again” regrets.
3. Declutter + resell idle items
Decided to clear a batch of old things? Mark them retired in AirDay and estimate residual value, then list them second-hand. The app auto-closes the “buy – depreciate – cash back” curve, so every declutter is accounted for.
4. Depreciation check on electronics
iPhones, MacBooks, and mirrorless gear keep piling up. Use AirDay to modularly manage these electronics; depreciation is plain to see, so you know what they’re still worth before a resale — no lowball trade-ins.
5. A home for the checklist-minded
Love having everything accounted for and in its place? AirDay’s list view and service progress bar satisfy that need for order — every item sits where it belongs, and your mind clears with it.
How AirDay differs from Notes and budgeting apps
| AirDay | Notes / Spreadsheet | Budgeting app | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Focus | Full-lifecycle asset of items | Loose notes | Cash flow |
| Cost view | Auto daily cost & residual | Manual / none | Spend only |
| Transfers | Sold / gifted / retired | Usually none | Rarely split |
| Structure | List + progress bar + category | Free text | Time-ordered flow |
| Data location | All on-device | Varies | Varies |
| Ads | None | Varies | Varies |
Notes are for jotting; budgeting apps show where money went. AirDay is good at “treating what you bought as an asset to manage” — purchase, amortization, residual, and resale, all on one line.

FAQ
Is AirDay free?
Free to download and use; see the App Store for pricing and any advanced capabilities.
Will my item data be uploaded?
No. AirDay processes everything locally — no account, no cloud sync, no third-party analytics or ad SDKs.
Do I need internet?
Managing items doesn’t need internet; downloading the app or backing up may.
How is it different from a budgeting app?
A budgeting app records where money went; AirDay records what your things are worth and what they truly cost per day — more like an asset ledger for items, with auto daily cost, residual value, and lifecycle tracking.
How is daily cost calculated?
Purchase price divided by the days you’ve owned (served) the item, giving the cost per day; paired with the service progress bar, you see exactly where the item sits in its lifecycle.
What happens to my data when I change phones?
AirDay does no cloud sync; data stays on this device only. Back up with iCloud or a computer before switching or reinstalling.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad (iOS / iPadOS 17.0 or later).
