Memble
Pull a small stretch of time from deep in your library, swipe to browse, swipe up to clean — fully local, no account, no ads.
Let your photos, slowly, find their place.
Memble is a photo organizer and photo management app for iPhone and iPad. It doesn’t ask you to clean the whole library at once, and it doesn’t nag you to keep a schedule — every time you open it, it pulls just a small, continuous stretch of time from deep in your library, enough for a few minutes of browsing, completing photo archive and cleanup as you go.
The way to organize is direct: swipe left or right to browse, swipe up to clean. No pop-ups, no multi-level menus — you see a photo, then you decide its fate.
Everything runs locally on your device: no account to register, no photos uploaded, no ads.
In one sentence: organizing your album doesn’t have to be a project — it can be a walk you start anytime and stop anytime.

What Memble Helps You Do
Time Travel: step into a moment by Year–Month
A library is normally a wall of thumbnails that never ends as you scroll down. Memble offers a different entry: pick a year, then a month, and face only that stretch of photos.
Say goodbye to the messy thumbnail wall and let album browse become stretches of time you can step into. Last year’s trip, last month’s screenshots — you go straight in, instead of swiping through thousands of images. By diving in year by year and month by month, you can pinpoint every node of your life records.
Organize: browse, then swipe up to clean
While browsing, swipe left or right to switch photos; swipe up on the ones you don’t want to clean up photos. No checkboxes, no menus — the decision happens in the second you see the photo.
This is Memble’s intuitive swipe to organize: the motion quickly becomes instinct, like scrolling short videos, where your fingers decide before your brain does.
Start: three entries, stop anytime
Not sure where to begin? The home screen gives you three entries: Recent, Screenshots, and Random.
- Recent: tidy what you just shot while the memory is fresh.
- Screenshots: tackle the easiest-to-pile-up, easiest-to-judge kind in one place.
- Random: pull out a random stretch, so you can organize with no goal and unexpectedly meet your past self.
Do only a small stretch each time, then quit. Organizing is no longer something you put off until “someday I have time.”
Privacy: photos never leave your device
As a truly minimalist tool, Memble has no account system and no cloud. Photos, your organizing results and marks all stay on your device, and uninstalling the app clears them.
The app integrates no third-party sign-in, analytics, ads or cloud-storage SDKs — not “off by default,” but simply none at all.
Typical Scenarios
1. Clear out piled-up screenshots
Open the Screenshots entry and go through them one screen at a time: expired verification codes, temporary QR codes, chat screenshots you forgot the moment you took them — swipe up to clean; keep the useful ones. A batch is done in minutes.
2. Browse old memories on a commute or before sleep
Pick a month and watch slowly. Some photos you thought you’d forgotten — seen again, the light, the expression, the air of that moment are all still there. While organizing, you also pick out what’s truly worth keeping.
3. Free up space, but not by ruthless deletion
Your phone warns about low storage, yet you dare not use “one-tap cleanup.” Memble lets you decide after seeing each photo — what you delete is confirmed unwanted, and what you keep is never accidentally harmed.
How Memble Differs from the System Album and One-Tap Cleaners
| Memble | System album | One-tap cleaner | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How to organize | Browse and swipe, swipe up to clean | Delete after selecting | Batch check or rule-based cleanup |
| Browse structure | Step back year by year, month by month | By timeline / albums | Grouped by similar, screenshots, etc. |
| Decision basis | Decide after seeing the photo | You pick | Mostly rules or algorithm suggestions |
| Data location | Fully on-device | On-device + iCloud (if on) | Depends on the tool |
| Account | None | Apple ID | Depends on the tool |
| Ads | None | None | Depends on the tool |
The system album is great at finding and archiving; Memble is great at making album organizing actually doable — it breaks a huge library into breathable moments, and you only handle a little each time.
